Kestrel 

Peregrine share the ancient masonry of Salisbury Cathedral with another falcon the charismatic Kestrel. A familiar raptor in the UK  (female pictured below) and indeed most of Europe. A delightful bird which has adapted to most environments of England, can be seen hovering over rural pastures and in parks of towns and cities.
